Work

I suppose this kind of goes with duty, but I'm putting it here.  The Japanese are very heavily focused on work and accomplishments.  That's why they only get one day off a week, kids and adults.  They believe that what you do is extremely important.  They are also even more materialistic than Americans (which is hard to do).  Anyway, jobs, titles, and all that are very important to them.
