Ash has four badges – that means he’s halfway there. Brock suggests they try going through Petalburg city again. That’ll give May and Max a chance to see their family again. But they aren’t so sure Ash will win a badge from their dad (remember – they have a slight case of hero worship going on…) Waling through the forest they find a bunch of Spinda. These pokemon use their apparent clumsiness to confuse opponents. A woman named Clair and her butler show up looking for Clair’s ‘lucky’ spinda. It has a heart shaped spot and it belongs to a friend of theirs. She claims that ever since she met that spinda she’s had good luck. Brock says he’ll get the spinda back for her. The others are going to help. But Team Rocket overhears and decides to take the spinda.
Brock catches a spinda… but it has a broken heart, not a whole one… Clair and her butler find the right one and Ash and Max try to catch it, but it runs off again. It runs into a whole group of spinda. Team Rocket decides to just take them all. And just as Ash gets the right one they suck it up. Spinda strikes back and confuses them. It crashes the balloon allowing all the spinda to escape, but it runs off yet again. Everyone heads off after it again. But Jesse is distracted by a teddiursa (spelling). They disguise it as a Spinda and gives it acting lessons O.o But an Ursuring blasts them off and rescues the teddiursa.
Ummm… some really cute guy is walking through the woods and says he’s almost there… just a guess that he owns the spinda…
Ash and co. are still looking, and Brock found the broken heart one again… They climb a mountain thinking spinda is going to the top, but Team Rocket is already there, and now they have Meowth disguised as a spinda. The lucky spinda comes to check it out, but Jesse and James accidentally nab Meowth instead and spinda escapes. When they run after it uses a dance to confuse them and they fall down the mountain into a river. The gang sees spinda and, chasing it to the top, they find it has gone to a huge garden. It picks a flower for Clair. The garden is spinda’s favorite. It’s where Clair met spinda’s owner. He shows up at that moment, and it is the blue haired guy! His name is Kane and they are engaged! He is a pokemon adventurer and left his spinda in Clair’s care while he was gone. That’s why she thinks spinda is lucky ^_^
Team Rocket interrupts the reunion in a giant spinda machine. Kane and spinda attack, but the machine can reflect attacks. They grab spinda and Clair faints! That kicks Brock into gear and he sends out all his pokemon to attack. Foretress’ explosion finally does it. Brock catches the broken heart spinda again ^_^ Ash and Pikachu send Team Rocket flying with thunder. Kane, Clair and their spinda are happy, but poor Brock only has the broken heart spinda left… So, off we go toward Petalburg again.
Location: Between Lavaridge town and Mauville
Notes: The burger wrapper has a pokeball on it -_-U
Maybe they’ll keep Max! Oh… sorry… personal prejudice showing again… can’t stand that kid…
If Ash has trouble beating the Hoenn gym leaders… then new trainers starting in Hoenn shouldn’t stand a chance… I mean, think about it… This show is so stupidly inconsistent sometimes… but we love it anyway ^_^
Why does Brock do that pokemon comparison thing? “I’m sincere as a seedot…” Give me a break. One good thing about Max – he shuts Brock up ^.~
Team Rocket wit ha huge heart is just ridiculous.
Why does Clair call it ‘her’ spinda, when we know it belongs to her friend?
“What are you doing confusing us? We’re already confused!” – James to Spinda.
Jesse has ethics? Since when!?
The butler can tell spinda apart by their tracks. He’s talented.
Why did she call her fiancé an acquaintance?
Why does Meowth always drive?
Jesse is eating her handkerchief.
