The Bicker the Better

We start our show with Ash and co. heading out of the pokemon center and toward Four Tree City.  Only one problem - May is missing!  Ash finds her primping in her room and, when he literally pushes her toward the door, she stops to look at herself in the mirror.  This prompts a short argument over fashion sense...  Or maybe not so short... once on the road Ash and May continue to bicker - apparently they bicker all day because Max and Brock complain about it.  That's when our heroes are interrupted by Oscar and Andy.  This couple enjoys partner battles... and they think Ash and May are in love.  That doesn't make either of our heroes too happy, but when Oscar and Andy suggest a two-on-two battle the two forget their protests.  They agree to a battle.

Brock is the judge and the pokemon are: Nidoking and Nidoqueen (belonging to Oscar and Andy), and Corfish and Skitty.  May takes a while to decide on a pokemon, which causes more tension between our heroes.  It doesn't help that skitty probably wasn't the best choice.  First, it uses assist-ember- and cancels corfish's bubble attack, then it accidentally attacks Corfish several times.  This prompts corfish to chase skitty.  Oscar and Andy quickly wrap up the battle and head off spouting more nonsense about tested love...

The two soon run into Team Rocket and, deciding that Jesse and James are lovers, invite them to a two-on-two battle.  This one wraps up even quicker than the earlier battle with Ash and May... Team Rocket is soon sent blasting off.

Ash and May are fighting worse than ever now and so are Jesse and James.  By the time they cross paths in the forest Jesse has decided she hates men, and James has decided he hates women.  The two voice their opinions rather loudly, and May and Ash quickly agree.  Jesse and James simultaneously get an idea.  Grabbing their twerp counter-parts they convince them to enter into a guys vs. gals pokemon battle.  Ash and May don't look too eager, but they agree.  Brock and Max aren't too thrilled either, but they don't have much of a choice...

The guys are pretty much creaming the girls until Jesse cheats by calling out her dustox (that'd be in addition to her Saviper... which is cheating)  The extra pokemon manages to create true mayhem as the pokemon attack each other - and even the humans - in a confused tousle.  Jesse accidentally steps on Skitty's tail so skitty attacks her.  She hides behind James (of course - hypocrite!).  Ash and May are really starting to look uncomfortable.  Brock calls the battle in favor of the guys so Jesse attacks him as well.

Meowth decides that this confusion is the perfect cover for stealing pikachu.  He begins to make strange signs, which Jesse and James (well... James at least...) seem to understand (once they stop fighting that is...).  They quickly reconcile and nab Pikachu.  They make a run for it, but stop for the motto (which is always their downfall).  May and skitty stop Team Rocket from running and then May and Ash team up against Team Rocket.  They do very well, and even compliment each other.  Pikachu is freed, and Team Rocket is sent blasting off with a double attack from corfish and skitty.  Ash apologizes to May, and she apologizes as well.  They are friends again.  But that's all... we hope (or I'll tell Misty!)

Location:    Between Petalburg City and Four Tree City

Notes:       Ash never looks in a mirror?  Wow!  He looks really good considering that...

Ash hasn't argued much in a long time.  But it was funny when his face did the rising red thing... you know, the thing that reminds me of a thermometer rising ^_^

When Oscar and Andy first appear they speak together and they sound just like Jesse and James... but they don't after that...

Oscar and Andy dress very 1700s

Skitty makes an ice sculpture of corfish (or... out of corfish... whichever ^_^)

When Nidoking and Nidoqueen attack together the attacks form hearts...

James calls Jesse ugly and she doesn't murder him (doesn't even hurt him...) that's something right there...

Jesse beats up James... she even sits on his back (piggy-back style) O.o scary...

Wobuffet is really bugging Brock... he even imitates Brock...
