Kagome
Kagome was your typical fifteen year old Tokyo girl, except that her family lived at an old shrine and took care of it. One day she was pulled through the old well at her home and ended up in Feudal Japan - 5000 yrs in her past! There she discovered that she is the reincarnation of a dead priestess and that a powerful jewel is trapped in her body. The jewel is forcibly removed and eventually scattered, but that's for the story section. Back to Kagome: she's very friendly and sweet, and very loyal. She very quickly becomes very attached to Inuyasha. Her kindness and sense of justice often cause the two to clash and argue, and neither is very mature, but she loves him and accepts him as he is. Kagome forgives easily, but she doesn't let people abuse her. She is brave as well, willing to sacrifice herself for others.
Weapons: Kagome uses a bow and arrows. She is able to infuse the arrows with holy energy making them sacred - which is very deadly to demons.
