Sango
Sango is a young demon slayer. She was raised in a village of demon slayers along with her younger brother Kohaku. One day the slayers were summoned to defeat some demons, but were tricked by Naraku. He took control of Kohaku, forcing the boy to kill the other slayers. Only Sango survived. Naruku then tricked her into attacking Inuyasha and co., but she failed to kill him and became a part of the odd group of shard collectors. Sango is very loyal, courageous, strong, skilled, and knowledgeable, but she is also vulnerable because of the pain caused by the violent deaths of everyone she loved. She becomes Kagome's best friend. She seems to enjoy verbally sparring with Miroku, and quite obviously has an interest in him, but she is disappointed with his 'wandering' hand and his overly flirtatious ways. Her closest companion is a demon fire cat named Kirara (though I swear they say the 'r's as 'l's in the English).
Weapons: Her main weapon is a huge boomerang type weapon called Hiraikotsu, but she also carries a sword.
BTW, Sango changes into a sleek, black, pants, long sleeve, turtle neck, ensemble during most fights. Complete with pink armor O.o what is she, Superman? Where does she hide all that?
