Epona - Link's trusty steed. Link doesn't always have a horse, and when he does it might not always be the same one... but at least in Z:OoT and Z:MM he has Epona. Epona belonged to Malon and her Father, but her father lost Epona to Link in a race. Link actually meets Epona when he is a child, but doesn't receive the animal until seven years later - at least, that's how it works in Z:OoT. But somehow he has Epona as a child in Z:MM. Anyway. Epona is evidently very steady in battle, despite having been raised on a ranch by a loving girl and a lazy man... Epona comes to Link when he plays the song Malon taught him. Epona is very fast.
