Kohaku is the brother of Sango. He also was raised to be a demon exterminator, but he was somewhat shy and uncertain, and was very nervous about it. On his first demon slaying assignment Naraku possessed him and caused him to kill everyone in his family but Sango.  Only the jewel shard in his back keeps him alive.  It was given to him by Naraku who took away the painful memories of the possession and all that occurred during it in exchange for Kohaku's service.  Now he cannot even remember his sister and tries to kill her...

weapon: double scythe connected by a chain.  They are made of demon bones.

age: probably around 12 or 13
