Mesa has no interest in net navis or technology at all.  He sells fish, and he knows all about them.  He is a firm believer in physical fitness, and is always pushing Lan. He can be annoying, but he’s a good friend and he gives good advice. He likes Ms. Mari too.

   Secretly he is Commander Beef, the head of all net agents.  In this persona he is a skilled and confident net battler, head of the net agents (who protect the net from villains), who often assists Lan in tough situations. He sees something special in Lan. His net navi is Sharkman.
