Karasu is creepy.  He uses his spirit energy like little bombs.  He loves to kill.  He’s a little mysterious, and he wears a half mask.  He is undoubtedly a good fighter, quick and silent.  He’s also good at mind games.  In the Japanese he likes Kurama (or he at least claims to).  In the dub he says he likes Kurama as a fighter (and then later they have to drop it and go back to the original Japanese - come on, the shimmering eyes and caressing of hair SO give it away).  In either case his life philosophy is to kill what you like.  He says it gives him a wonderfully sad feeling.  So he is basically obsessed with killing Kurama.
