I
have a different opinion on Keith that the dub edited out. I had a friend who
has a major obsession with him. Bandit Keith was a top American duelist, but
Pegasus humiliated him in a public tournament saying even a kid could beat
him. So now he's lost all pride and goes around drunk and drugs. He hates
Pegasus for what he did to him. Now his life when down the drain. It's really
sad.
I
don't agree with Seto and Anzu but I'm not going against it. It's possible.
But I support Yugi and Anzu!! You probably haven't seen the first series of
Yugioh (a lot of people haven't), but Yugi blushes and it's sooo cute!!
They've known each other since they were 5 and Yugi has the biggest crush on
her but will never tell. There's a scene in Duelist Kingdom where Mai
sets them up together but the anime left that out.
Seto
is the same age as Yugi and company, Yugi is just really really short and
Kaiba is really really tall. The English version changes everything so it's
really confusing. Seto was MUCH younger then 12 when he was adopted.
Rebecca
is 8 in the original but 12 in the dub.
The
American version is really funny. They say Rex and Weevil are the top two
duelists in Japan but say "Welcome to America." to Isis. So
basically they live in America now -_-. It's obviously Japanese animation
though. And later, Yugi and company GO to America. I wonder how they'll dub
that. This is America number 2 !! XD
I
like the dub and all but some parts I wish they'd leave in. Like when Bakura
and Honda climb the tower blindfolded so they couldn't see up Anzu's skirt
XD And when Jounochi and Honda try to peek at Anzu while she's bathing but
get bonked on the head by Mai. There are other little bits that I wish I
could see.
No, the manga does not lean toward everyone being gay, it's just a fangirl thing all over fanfiction which can get annoying.
And yes ^^; they get Yugi's soul back. I think filler arcs are stupid because they don't fit as well with the original storyline. What does Yugioh have to do with Atlantis anyway?? The anime just wants more episodes, dueling and money -_-; Noa was a filler too. So far there's three: the Noa arc, Doom arc, and Grand Prix arc. They are separate anime only storylines to fill up space. Kaiba doesn't look right in a white suit... but that's just my opinion ^^;- Achiru -
