Captain
Sagara is not really a supporting character I guess... he was instrumental
because he
helped shape the man Sano becomes, and he is the catalyst behind many
of Sano's actions. He
was the Captain of the Sekihoutai, a fighting force
formed by former farmers fighting for the Imperialists. The Imperialists
promised lower taxes and then revoked that promise. When people got angry
they let the Sekihoutai take the fall calling them liars and a false army.
This could not have been farther from the truth. The Imperialists then
murdered the entire fighting force. Only Sano and another young boy (Sano
was very young) survived. Oh, he is brave, capable, and has high ideals,
but he also understands reality. He is very intelligent and concerned for
others.
I put him in here because I like him ~_^ he's hot!!!
