The Juppongatana are a force of ten elite fighters assembled by Shishio to assist him in taking over Japan. Their fighting styles, ideals, and reasons are all different, but they are all skilled, ruthless, and devoted to Shishio's plan (if not to Shishio himself). They are (from left to right, top to bottom) Anji, former Buddhist monk who fights using only a secret fist technique; Henya, flight of the Juppongatana who uses dynamite and is so thin he can practically fly; Iwanbo, who is stupid but nearly invincible; Kamatari, a man disguised as a woman who fights with a huge scythe with a ball attached by a chain; Fuji, a giant who wants only to be recognized as something other than a monster; Chou the sword hunter, who wants.. to fight and collect swords; Usui the blind, who seems to sense what he cannot see and hates Shishio; Saizuchi, an old man with great strategic ability, the only one who Fuji listens too; and Houji, the organizer and planner behind Shishio's entire operation. The tenth member is Sojiro, but he has his own page ^_^
